The Platform may initially focus on football but may expand into additional sports and regions over time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.

If you are under 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent, guardian, coach, club official, or responsible adult.

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

The grassroots game has enough chaos already. Please do not add to it.

6. Fixtures, Matches, and Sporting Activities

The Friendly App provides tools to help users organise and communicate regarding sporting events.

We do not:

• Guarantee fixtures will take place
• Guarantee attendance or participation
• Verify the suitability, safety, quality, insurance, or legality of any match, venue, club, referee, coach, or event
• Act as an organiser of sporting activities unless explicitly stated

Participation in any sporting activity arranged through the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

Users are responsible for:

• Conducting appropriate safeguarding checks
• Ensuring suitable insurance is in place
• Verifying age groups and eligibility
• Complying with governing body rules
• Risk assessments and venue safety
• Medical and emergency arrangements

7. Safeguarding and Child Protection

Where minors are involved in sport, users must comply with all relevant safeguarding laws, regulations, and governing body requirements.

Clubs, coaches, referees, volunteers, and organisers are solely responsible for:

• DBS or equivalent background checks
• Safeguarding compliance

• Parental permissions

We reserve the right to remove accounts, events, or users where safeguarding concerns arise.

You retain ownership of your content.

However, by uploading content to the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

Grassroots football may continue in the rain. Servers occasionally need a timeout.
